Are you passionate about eyewear, patient care, and helping people feel confident in their vision? iSight Optometry is looking for a full-time Optical Assistant / Optician to join our supportive and close-knit team in Kelowna.

This is a great opportunity for someone with optical experience who enjoys combining patient care, eyewear styling, and hands-on optical work in a busy and collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Guide patients in selecting frames that complement their prescription, face shape, personal style, and lifestyle.
• Take precise optical measurements and ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Dispense eyewear and perform frame adjustments and repairs.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear solutions so they can make confident decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing optical area.
• Provide a warm and exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Optician or Optical Assistant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must be able to reliably commute to our Kelowna clinic for in-person work.

What We Offer

• $21.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday – no weekends!
