About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team.
You'll play an important part in each patient's journey by supporting our optometrists, assisting with patient testing and appointments, and helping create an exceptional patient experience throughout the clinic.
In addition to supporting patient care, you'll work closely with our opticians when needed, assisting on the optical floor and helping ensure a seamless and welcoming experience throughout each patient's visit.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression.
- Assist with patient pre-testing, imaging, and other appointment support (training provided).
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and process payments.
- Support patients throughout their experience within the clinic and optical.
- Assist our opticians on the optical floor when needed and help ensure a seamless experience from examination through to the delivery of eyewear.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optometry, medical, healthcare, retail, or customer service setting is considered an asset but is not required.
- Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
