This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong eye for style, and is interested in the optical field. You’ll play a key part in both patient experience and daily clinical flow, blending fashion consultation with clinical and administrative support.

  • Recommend lens options, treatments, and upgrades based on individual needs and prescriptions
  • Create a welcoming, confident, and personalized patient experience from start to finish
  • Support patients in making informed and stylish eyewear decisions

Optometric Assistant Support

  • Assist with pre-testing procedures (e.g., autorefraction, tonometry, and other diagnostics as needed)
  • Support doctors and clinical staff with patient flow and day-to-day operations
  • Provide contact lens training and patient education (insertion, removal, and care)

Optical Support

  • Take accurate measurements (PDs, frame adjustments, fittings)
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming eyewear orders
  • Perform minor frame adjustments and fittings to ensure optimal comfort and fit

Administrative & Clinic Operations

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Manage patient check-in/out and process payments (POS system)
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and voicemails in a professional manner
  • Enter and manage orders using clinic software (Visual Eyes)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing clinic and retail space
  • Support inventory management and merchandising displays

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused attitude
  • Interest in fashion, eyewear, and styling
