Dr. Zargar Eyecare is a patient-focused practice committed to delivering exceptional eye care services in a welcoming and professional environment. Our team is dedicated to improving the vision and overall eye health of our community through personalized care, advanced technology, and compassion.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Optometrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages while ensuring a positive and supportive experience. Specialty in Dry Eye, Myopia Management, Ortho-k and Scleral contact lens fitting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose visual disorders.
  • Communicate results of diagnostic testing, including Lipiscan, TBUT, Retinal Imaging, OCT, Visual Field, Topography, Axial Length measurements, and Neurolens Assessments.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with optical staff to ensure smooth eyewear selection and fitting.
  • Stay current with advancements in Optometry, including new technologies and treatments.
  • Engage in eyewear product recommendations and promote solutions tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care while addressing concerns and answering questions.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice Optometry in Ontario.
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, myopia management, and dry eye care preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on patient education.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Schedule

  • Weekday shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
  • Weekend availability (alternating Saturdays)
