What You'll Do
As an Optometric Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting both our doctors and patients throughout their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and preliminary examinations.
- Prepare patients for specialized Dry Eye, Myopia Management, and Specialty Contact Lens appointments.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow.
- Welcome patients and provide an outstanding customer service experience.
- Process insurance claims, billing, and other front desk administrative duties.
- Educate patients on eyewear, contact lenses, Dry Eye products, and Myopia Management solutions.
- Support retail sales of eyewear and specialty products.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience as an Optometric Assistant is required.
- Previous experience using electronic medical records is preferred.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
