What You'll Do
As an Optometric Assistant, you'll be involved in many aspects of the patient’s experience, including:
- Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression.
- Assist patients with selecting frames and recommending eyewear solutions that suit their lifestyle and needs.
- Perform frame adjustments, repairs, and eyewear fittings.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily clinic schedule.
- Process insurance billings and patient payments.
- Perform preliminary pre-testing before appointments (training provided).
- Support front desk reception and administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Work closely with the doctors and team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.

Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in an optometric, optical, or medical office is considered an asset but is not required.
- We provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Must be available to work Tuesday evenings and occasional Saturdays as required.

- Full-time (30-40 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday evening shifts as required
- Occasional Saturdays as required
