Position Summary

We are seeking a Front Desk / Optical Care Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional, emotionally intelligent, and detail-oriented individual who is interested in building long-term growth and longevity within a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has a happy, caring demeanor, communicates with warmth and confidence, and remains naturally composed under pressure. This role requires someone who values contributing to an environment where precision and compassion must coexist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients and guide them throughout their visit
  • Conduct preliminary eye tests (including intraocular pressure testing, wide-angle retinal scans, and other pre-testing procedures)
  • Collect and document patient health information in person and over the phone
  • Conduct professional and courteous phone conversations
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s daily calendar
  • Process billing for patients, insurance companies, and Alberta Health Care
  • Maintain smooth patient flow through pre-testing and exam areas
  • Participate in ongoing personal and team development training
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
