LONDON EYE CARE is an independent optometry clinic that has proudly served the London community for over 35 years. We combine the warmth and relationships of a community practice with advanced specialty services, including Neurolens therapy, dry eye treatment (IPL and RF), and AMD management with MacuMira. We are an expanding practice and we want a Licensed Optician who is ready to grow with us.

The Role

As part of our optical team, you will bring your licensed expertise to the dispensary and play a key role in the patient experience. You will work alongside our optometrists to ensure every patient leaves not only with eyewear that is precisely fitted and expertly dispensed, but feeling genuinely cared for throughout their visit.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing prescription eyewear with precision and a patient-first approach
  • Performing thorough frame fittings, adjustments, and repairs
  • Interpreting and verifying optical prescriptions
  • Supporting Neurolens dispensing and follow-up workflows
  • Managing frame board inventory, visual merchandising, and lab relationships
  • Educating patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care
  • Ensuring compliance with College of Opticians of Ontario standards

What You Bring

  • Licensed Optician in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario (RO licence required)
  • Minimum 1 year of dispensing experience in a clinical or optometry setting
  • A warm, patient-focused approach and a genuine interest in delivering an exceptional experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience with optical practice management software is an asset
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
