  • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure a smooth transition throughout their visit
  • Support doctors and clinical staff with patient flow and day-to-day clinic operations
  • Provide contact lens training and patient education on insertion, removal, and proper lens care
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure examination rooms are prepared and organized
  • Deliver a welcoming, friendly, and professional patient experience

Administrative & Clinic Operations

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
  • Process payments and support insurance submissions
  • Enter and manage patient information using clinic software
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment
  • Assist with inventory management and general clinic upkeep

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an optometry, ophthalmology, medical office, or healthcare setting is considered an asset
  • Experience with pre-testing equipment or diagnostic imaging is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the optometric field

What We Offer

  • Health and Dental Benefits
  • In-house Vision Care
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Opportunity to grow within a modern and patient-focused optometric practice

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Alternating shifts between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Compensation

$19.00 – $23.00 per hour

Previous optical or clinical experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate who is passionate about patient care and eager to learn.
