Front Desk Receptionist
Hollyburn Eye Clinic is one of the largest multi-doctor optometry practices on the North Shore, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced technology, outstanding customer service, and a collaborative team environment. We are currently looking for two Front Desk Receptionists to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while helping keep our busy clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs
- Handle payments, billing, and insurance-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support the team in ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Keep the reception area organized and presentable
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-first approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Comfortable learning new systems and technology
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous reception, administrative, healthcare, or customer service experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience working in an optometry or medical clinic is an asset, but not required
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism
